Home Sweet Home...for now.
And the stress-filled move to Florida is complete. And when I say stressful, I mean stressful people. First there was the ridiculous packing. Honestly, packing felt like we were breaking up or something....some stuff was going with me, some with Chris, and the rest in storage. It was like packing for 3 different moves. Then trying to get my mattress and box spring on top of my truck was probably one of the most trying things we've done...ever. Sounds ridiculous but we were both so frustrated with the whole thing I'm pretty sure that mattress set was about 5 rapid heartbeats from getting a new home in the dumpster. It was at that point I busted into tears, which I never do. I had some raging separation anxiety going on and on top of that I was worried about driving 9+ hours with this mattress set on my car. But after a (thankfully) uneventful drive Ramsey and I are here and are finally unpacked and settled in. Tara and her family have made it very easy to get settled in and have also gone above and beyond to help me get my job search going. I am very grateful for all their help!
So all in all things are good. Now if I could just find a job.....I have an interview next week. Keep your fingers crossed!!
